client project reveal: part two

Happy weekend!  As promised, I'm back to share part two of my recent client project…the dining room.  For this space, they wanted to keep their beautiful dining room table, upholstered dining chairs, sideboard/buffet, mirror, and horse prints which were made by her mom :).  Prior to calling on me, they had also found some drapery panels they liked so I wanted to work those into the space.  The space was wallpapered in a classic white print.  The dining room is the first room you see when entering the front door and is open to the  living room/family room (part 1 of the reveal).  I wanted to add some color and "glam" to the space while keeping it clean, comfortable, and of course, coordinated with the new family room design.  So here you go….

client project reveal: part one

Woah!!  Has it really been two months since I posted?!  Is it just me or does time seem to be going by faster and faster?  I guess that's what happens when you're having fun ;).  Anywho, back to the good stuff….

I have been so incredibly blessed the last couple months.  I just finished up a big project, have one underway, and a wait list to follow.  When I set out on this side venture/journey of mine, I never dreamt that it would take off the way it has.  I started the blog as simply an outlet; an outlet for my passion.  I'm so excited though that it led to clients who trust and call on me to help them love their homes again!   I can't wait for what's to come!  Thank YOU for taking this journey with me :).

So, pictures.  Isn't that what we all love to see?!  Well here you go….Part One of my most recent project….client family room!

Here are a couple before pictures of the space...

Their askupdate the space, make it more modern, add color and interest, give it some life.  They wanted to keep their big comfy sectional and their recently purchased rug.  They also hoped to use the existing end table and floor lamp.  Through the initial consultation, I learned more about them and their likes and dislikes, and here's what I came up with…

I'm always on the hunt for fabric deals though, so after a trip to the fabric store, it evolved to this…

And the final product, like this (reveal photos shot by Gwynne Wharton Photography)….

So there you have it; Part One of the reveal!  Want a sneak peek of Part Two?!….

Stay tuned for the full Part Two reveal!
